Safe Place – Empowering women and families with unsupported pregnancies to make life-giving choices (Sep 2026 to Feb 2027)

Imagine discovering you’re pregnant with no one to turn to. Instead of celebrating, you worry if you’ll face the pregnancy journey alone, how you’ll afford baby essentials and where you’ll stay. Without early intervention, fear, rejection, financial hardship and emotional distress can escalate into a crisis for mother and child.

 

Since 2018, Safe Place has supported more than 700 mothers and welcomed more than 500 babies. At any given time, we serve 150 to160 mothers regardless of age, race, marital status or income.

 

All services are provided free, thanks to generous donors and partners like you.

 

Join us to change a mother’s future. Your support can give her the stability and hope she needs. It gives her baby the best possible start in life. Your gift will provide a mother with a continuum of care, which includes:

 

• Case management and options guidance by professional social workers
• Family and personal counselling
• Safe and conducive temporary accommodation
• Baby essentials and nutritious confinement meals
• Emotional and social support by volunteers
• Pre- and post-natal education programmes
• Intra- and inter-personal development workshops
• Access to partner resources and referrals
