My name is Jabez. I am the Founder and Director at Infinite Transports Pte Ltd, a social enterprise specialising in logistics and last-mile delivery. My company partners with Lakeside Family Services (Lakeside) by providing meaningful work for ex-inmates, as well as training, mentorship, and a supportive environment where they feel valued and part of the team.

I’ve seen firsthand how stable employment can transform their lives and benefit our society. One particularly touching moment was when an ex-inmate employee shared how their job helped them regain custody of their children. Seeing the positive impact on their family was incredibly moving and reinforced the importance of our efforts. We’re not only helping them rebuild their lives but also tapping into a group of highly motivated individuals eager to prove themselves.

The work Lakeside does aligns with our company values of community support and inclusivity. Some employees and customers initially had reservations about working with ex-inmates, which we addressed through education and success stories. I would encourage businesses to look beyond the label of “ex-offender” and see the potential in each person.
