For many, Lunar New Year is the season of joy and abundance. While we shop for brand new outfits and our tables overflow with goodies, let’s not forget those who are not able to celebrate the same way because of family or financial difficulties.

Lakeside’s wide range of programmes and services provide holistic care for vulnerable individuals and families, develop resilience in disadvantaged children, mould troubled youths into contributing individuals, empower active seniors to help lonely seniors, assist ex-offenders in reintegrating into society, and help women with unsupported pregnancies. As many beneficiaries we serve have felt the impact of inflation and higher costs of living, our work helps them persevere through this difficult period.

Through the Season of Giving campaign, Lakeside hopes to raise funds to support all our programmes and services, and to be disbursed as festive love gifts to those struggling financially.

This season, let us intentionally experience The Gift of Giving by making a donation.

Campaign period: 18 November 2022 to 31 March 2023
