Celest
“Meet Celest! During the pandemic, she joined us for our We Can Read programme online. Being just four years old then, she had a short attention span and would sometimes hide her face during class. Nevertheless, we persevered in teaching her the letter sounds and how to blend short vowel words.”
Now in Primary 1, Celest has grown into a confident reader who is ready for the academic challenges ahead. She can fluently read books at her grade level, spell longer multi-syllabic words, and complete worksheets independently! Her progress has been reassuring and is a reminder of the great things every child is capable of.
